At Raleigh Roof Rescue, giving back is at the heart of everything we do. Founded and operated by a retired firefighter, our mission goes far beyond roofing—we’re here to serve, protect, and uplift the very community that has always stood beside us.
Through our ongoing partnership with the North Carolina Firefighters’ Burned Children Fund, a portion of every roof we install helps support young burn survivors and their families. This incredible organization provides care, healing experiences, and hope to those facing life after burn injuries—including through programs like Camp Celebrate, where children can rediscover joy, confidence, and connection.
Every project we complete isn’t just about restoring a roof—it’s about rebuilding lives and giving back to those who have endured so much. When you choose Raleigh Roof Rescue, you become part of that mission. Together, we’re making a difference—one roof, one family, one act of service at a time.

David Nance, President of the organization, helps coordinate donations for this life-changing cause. You can contribute directly to Camp Celebrate through him, or donate to your local chapter to support not only Camp Celebrate but also vital life safety education and prevention programs in your community.
Local chapters are hosted by neighborhood fire departments, where you can also learn more about ongoing safety initiatives and prevention efforts in your area.
Camp Celebrate is a special annual weekend retreat for children who are current or former patients of the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Designed exclusively for young burn survivors, the camp offers a safe, uplifting space where children can learn, grow, and experience the joy of success.
Camp Celebrate combines therapeutic, educational, and recreational activities, giving children the chance to build new skills, gain confidence, and have fun in the process.
The heart of Camp Celebrate lies in creating a supportive, healing environment that nurtures each child’s sense of self-worth, belonging, and resilience. Every camper is encouraged to see themselves not as a patient, but as a valued individual—a friend, a teammate, a learner, and a dreamer.
Like all children, burn survivors are curious, adventurous, and full of life. They seek acceptance, joy, and understanding. Camp Celebrate helps meet these needs through meaningful activities, compassionate guidance, and genuine connection—reminding every child that they are strong, capable, and never alone.
